PUBG Global Invitational 2018: Introducing the EU Teams

Hi everyone,

PGI 2018 is now less than 2 weeks away and we’re continuing to announce the teams representing each area of the world. Today, we’re announcing the three teams joining the Invitational from the EU region!

Team Liquid won an impressive three games on the first day of the qualifying round, grabbing the top spot overall. But are they fluid enough to win even one game against some of the best teams in the world?

WTSG, short for Welcome to South Georgo, entered PGI with tremendous skills and stable performances, securing 2nd place overall in the EU qualifier. The beaches in Georgo may be nice, but WTSG has to make it through some tough competition before they can enjoy that vacation.

Pittsburgh Knights showed great consistency over the 3 day qualifier, ranking anywhere from 2nd to 6th, with a 3rd place finish overall. While impressive, they’ll have to tighten up that placement range if they are to walk away with the PGI title.

We’ll continue to announce more teams as we approach the tournament, but please join us in welcoming these three teams to the PGI roster! We’ll see you at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany from July 25 to July 29!
